Pioneer Avh P2300 Wiring Diagram. Here's the question i have regarding hooking up a toggle switch for the p2300: I put in a double din pioneer avh p2300 dvd, but now my radio recpiton is poor.
From everything i have read the green wire goes to a hot, 12v wire on the parking brake, and that grounding this out allows playback for dvd's. Although if you have bought a new model pioneer head unit, you cant just ground it, it wont work so what you have to do is on the wiring harness that comes with the pioneer head unit, there will be a wire labelled mute (this wire is not needed) so remove it without damaging it and you will need to move it to another port on the plug. • do not drill a hole into the engine compartment to connect the yellow lead of the unit to the vehicle battery.
