Th400 Kickdown Switch Wiring Diagram. Note that there are two different detent solenoids used in the th400. Also the early 400s with switch pitch used the second wire to run the converter.
I believe that the /tr indicates the wire has a 'tracer' or a second color that runs along it. Our 70 camaro has it too. I have adapted the pictured switch to fit my ls swap pedal.
